Our take
From our testingGrinds and dehydrates rather than makes real compost. But it's more compact than the others, and it's fast too. Don't like the awkward lid, though, and the company has been unresponsive to our product queries. Full review coming soon.

After setting aside reviews whose enthusiasm appeared to be driven by referral codes or gifted units, we found five independent reports from users spanning 2022 to 2025.
Users reported liking the convenience of the device, the amount of trash it could deal with and the drop in the number of fruit flies. Owners also noted that there was no rotting food smell.
The output is a dehydrated ground waste byproduct, not compost, although it can be used in compost and one user reported making 20 gallons of material in a year. There were few reports of odor - and I haven't had issues either - with the one exception of a user reporting an odd smell around the composter even when it's idle.
Noise was reported as relatively quiet, although my own ongoing tests find it to be louder than the Reencle at 64.8 decibels.
One owner reported trouble-free use as part of a wider composting system, while another reported three failures in one year, including a sheared metal bucket at 9 months followed by a dead fan 3 weeks later. Users also complained about having to purchase Lomi Pods (note I have previously emailed Lomi for information about these for a Lomi I am currently testing, but have not had a reply).
